Abstract

Having celebrated two millennia of existence, Christianity has gone through five important moments: the Pentecost, the Early Middle Ages, Central and late Middles ages, Early Modern Catholicism and nineteenth-twentieth centuries. These crucial moments of Christianity, constitute the five chapters of Norman Tanner’s New Short History of the Catholic Church, the most fascinating story of any institution in world history. Through the life, prayer, study, and struggles of Christians, tradition, his-tory and consequentially, doctrines, permit us to understand the fullness of truth and of God’s Revelation in Christ.
