AFRICAN APPROPRIATION OF CHRISTIANITY: BOULAGA’S TESTAMENT TO AFRICAN CHURCHES

Abstract

In memory of the Cameroonian philosopher and theologian Eboussi Boulaga, who died a few years ago, this article explores his theological thoughts considered as his testament to African churches. The paper considers his call to African churches to embrace true Christianity and conversion, leading to freedom, responsibility, spiritual and material autonomy, and socio-political and economic transformations.
