Abstract

Our concern in this article is to trace the life, ideas and activities of one of the key figures of such philosophies and see how her ideas have been implemented and are being implemented in Africa. Our position is that we are not under any threat of population explosion and that the idea that Africa is poor because it is over-populated is false, ideologically motivated, and rooted in an atheistic and anti-social philosophies of our time. We accept some regulation of birth, but this cannot be done simply on economic basis. The person must be taken as a whole.
