Exploring our Christian life in the Light of the African Synod

Abstract

The publication of this book, the second in the Hekima College Series, edited by Fr. Charlton, a professor of theology at Hekima College, comes in the wake of the African Synod. Thus, the themes considered in the fourteen chapters of the book, under seven sections, treat issues and topics of particular relevance to the deliberations and proposals of the Synod. Namely, the hope of the Synod itself, revelation and faith, Christology today, celebrating reconciliation and Eucharist, the role of Mary for Christian life, and the Christian's commitment to justice.
