Abstract

plethora of conflicts within Africa is a sure loud cry for developing methodologies of peacebuilding towards sustainable social transformation. The evidence of a continent tilted by conflicts along ethnic, cultural, political, social, and economic lines justifies the need for a book like this one. The contributors pour out their informed passion to raise hope through developing contextualized methodologies of peacebuilding. Their analysis identifies causes and impacts of conflicts at several levels. Articles within the book reflect on several contexts in conflicts such as Zimbabwe and Democratic Republic of Congo, for example. The editor sees people committed to conflict transformation as peace weavers.
