Indifference in the Spiritual Exercise of St. Ignatius

Abstract

The reflection I present here is intended as a contribution to a better understanding of the Ignatian attitude indifference. It must be observed here that the substantive "Indifference" does not appear anywhere in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, or at least not in the French and English translations. Only the adjective "Indifference" is used. That is significant for the understanding of indifference as a spiritual attitude.
