Mercy as the Depth-Dimension of Forgiveness: Rwanda in Reconstruction

This article explores the place of mercy in the reconstruction of broken relationships in the post-genocide Rwanda. Contrary to the popular view that mercy is incompatible with justice, the author presents the former as a deep spiritual ingredient giving new meaning to the concept of justice.
