Abstract

This book is a comprehensive and critical evaluation of the nature of priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church. Taking Into account recent biblical and historical studies, the author attempts to address the issue of what it means to be a priest in today's Church from a theological and pastoral perspective. His topic Is developed In five chapters of the book each of them actually provides a new Insight that challenges our traditional understanding of priesthood and raises relevant questions on issues that have long been taken for granted.
