Abstract

Sivalon’s book attempts to defend the place of Mission in the church as Missio Dei and offers a fresh Trinitarian view of God’s mission in the postmodern world. Sivalon’s hypothesis is that “postmodern culture does not render Christian mission meaningless... it breathes fresh insight, vision, and life into Vatican II’s notion that mis-sion is centered in the very heart of God.
