Hopes and Prospects for the Church in Africa

Abstract

This article brings to light the Church’s ‘achievements’ in Africa since the last African Synod. It also catalogues the challenges dogging the Church in Africa, thereby anticipating the agenda of the next synod scheduled to take place in 2009. While there are many problems in Africa, the author maintains that there is still some hope for the continent.
