FRATERNITY IN CHRIST Building the Church as Family

One of the important values of human society is fraternity. It is an essential quality for the survival of humanity. However, when we look at our Continent the vitality of this quality seems to be overlooked due to divisions, oppositions, hatred, violence and fratricidal wars. In his book, Father Jordan Nyenyembe, priest of the diocese of Mbinga, Tanzania, explores theological and pastoral advantages of the idea of fraternity which, some years back in 1978, was proposed by Bishop Albert Yungu of the Democratic Republic of Congo as a way of continuing to enrich the theology of the Church as family of God. Fraternity in Christ is divided in six chapters.
