Abstract

We are living in a world where the dignity of the human body is denied by some practices, which overstress instant satisfaction of human desires and dreams (spiritual, biological, psychological, etc.), without seriously reflecting on the means used or to be used in order to reach those goals. Such an overemphasis easily leads to the misuse of the body whose value is ignored and denied. Some people are ready to kill or to involve themselves in sexual immorality, provided that they meet the expectations of their dreams or desires. In the name of the progress of science and technology, experiments are even made on human beings, who are treated like objects, in order to solve problems that seem to defeat human intelligence.
