Peter Mpangi's book provides an introduction to African Christian Theology, written for students who are unfamiliar with the achievements of this specific discipline. The author's purpose is not to push forward, in territories as yet unexplored; but the ordering of the material, the way it is dealt with, and the author's own reflections and proposals represent original contributions, which must be considered as part of the ongoing development of African Christian Theology.
