ReviewAbstract
Religion and Reconciliation in South Africa is a systematic interview of 33 religious leaders from an array of religious communities on their assessment of the post-apartheid Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) mandated, under the leadership of the Nobel laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu to “promote national unity and reconciliation in a spirit of understanding which transcends the conflict and division of the past”. The book intended to contribute toward understanding the “implication of the South African experience to promote forgiveness and reconciliation among former adversaries”.
