The situation in which Africa live keeps her in a deep crisis that has ramifications and a direct impact on the social, economic and political. Africa is torn by various ailments. The precarious economic and political institutions leave much to be desired. The universal Church through the second Synod for Africa, and its concern about the fate of the African continent gives a mission to the African church to be at the service of reconciliation, peace and justice. This reflection proposes and outlines the ways undertaken by the Church to be at the service of Reconciliation, Justice and Peace in Africa. By elucidating the anthropological presuppositions which are the basis for a value of justice, a reconstruction of a just social order that guarantees the establishment of a lasting peace and sustainable development becomes urgent. Without development there is no hope of reducing conflicts.
