Africa has great potential in the development of eco-friendly indigenous and local technologies. It also has the potential to import eco-friendly technologies that does not destroy its natural environment in the name of urbanization and unsustainable development. What are the challenges that stifle these potentials? What are the possibilities of developing ecologically conscious technologies that can contribute to sustainable development and growth? Is Africa ready to do what it takes to save its environment?
