Evangelization of Africa for the Third Millennium

Abstract

Achewa elders say "When you are practising witchcraft, remember to look to the east, for the light of dawn might expose you to shame." Today we have to look to the east not only because of the presence of the Orthodox Church in this gathering but also due to the fact that every sunrise draws us closer to the third millennium. The approach of the third millennium should prompt the Churches to reflect on their activities in such a way that their eyes are fixed firmly on the mission of Christ.
