Islam and Christianity are well-known religions with thousands to millions of followers in many countries of the
world. At local and international levels, the relationship between these two faiths is sometimes cordial and other times problematic. Both religions are monotheistic and claim the patriarch Abraham as their father. Across centuries, Islam and Christianity have built and destroyed human civilisations in the name of religion or God. This ‘double-sword’ approach has serious consequences on justice, peace and sustainable development. To foster integral ecology for justice, peace and sustainable development, violence perpetrated in the name of these religions must be properly dealt with. This can be done by exploring existing doctrinal harmonies in these religions. The article “A Comparative Analysis of the Concept of Creation in Mulla Sadra and Thomas Aquinas: Foundation for Muslim-Christian Dialogue” is a contribution in this direction. While Mulla Sadra represents Islam, Thomas Aquinas stands for Christianity.
