African Theology: A Yeast for the Transformation of African Cultures and Societies

Abstract

I write this paper not because I consider myself an African Theologian or a theologian specialising in African Theology, but because I
have lived in Africa for about six decades. Furthermore, my academic field, which has been mostly in pastoral theology for the long years that I have been in Africa, encourages me to think that I could be considered an African pastoral theologian.
