Abstract

Expert in the theology of the Pentateuch, Matthias Köckert was the Chair of Old Testament Studies at the theological faculty of Universität Humboldt in Berlin for twenty years. In recognition of his successful years of research and publications, the following (mostly German) scholars dedicated an anthology to honour him on the occasion of his 65th birthday. The following paragraphs consecutively summarise the contributors’ articles.
